Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire - Ghost Fx

Some vfx concepts done to explore the ghost fx for Melody and Phoebe in Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire, done within the Framestore Art department. While Melody had a gentle blue flame-like nature to her form, Phoebe had a more subtle nebulous plasma form to her. The concepts were created on top of photos. They were presented as a sequence of studies showing the ghost effect in a range from “barely visible” to “fully on”, which could potentially correlate to their emotional state or intensity.
