This started as a very quick “lockdown after-hours” Blender sculpting exercise as I’m still quite new to the sculpting side of things in the software as I tend to use zbrush (apart from doing little tweaks to geo). Spent an hour or so starting from a sphere, using dynotopo and voxel remesh and started getting used to the tools. Then I got carried away using a cavity map baked into the vertex colour as a driver to texture the head procedurally (didn’t have time to paint textures, though there was a smidge of vertex painting to at red to the lips and pupils in the eyes), added a bit of hair and ended up with this very weird genie! The original 1-ish hour sculpt below at the bottom, then another 2-3 hours to genie-fy it. Rendered in Cycles... I’m pretty pleased to find that I was able to do this literally all on blender within this timeframe. Onwards with my Blender learning!
